It also supports high-speed sync, FV lock, AF-assist illuminator, and custom functions. In this article, we will show you how to use the Meike MK-910 flash speedlight for Nikon in different scenarios.

Using the Meike MK-910 as an On-Camera Flash

To use the Meike MK-910 as an on-camera flash, follow these steps:

  1. Attach the flash unit to the camera's hot shoe and turn on both devices.

  2. Select i-TTL mode on the flash by pressing the MODE button until "i-TTL" appears on the LCD screen.

  3. Set the camera's exposure mode to P, S, A, or M.

  4. Adjust the flash zoom position to match the lens focal length by pressing the ZOOM button. You can also use the wide-flash adapter or the diffusion dome for wider coverage.

  5. Adjust the flash exposure compensation (FEC) if needed by pressing the + or - buttons. You can also use FV lock to lock in the flash exposure for the main subject.

  6. Take a picture. The flash will fire a series of monitor pre-flashes to measure the light reflected from the subject and adjust the flash output accordingly.

Using the Meike MK-910 as a Master Flash

To use the Meike MK-910 as a master flash in wireless multiple flash setups, follow these steps:

  1. Attach the flash unit to the camera's hot shoe and turn on both devices.

  2. Select master mode on the flash by pressing the MODE button until "M" appears on the LCD screen.

  3. Set the camera's exposure mode to P, S, A, or M.

  4. Set up one or more remote flash units that are compatible with CLS and turn them on. Make sure they are set to remote mode and have the same channel as the master flash.

  5. Adjust the flash zoom position, FEC, and FV lock for the master flash as described above.

  6. Adjust the flash output level and mode (i-TTL, AA, M) for each group of remote flashes by pressing the SEL button and using the + or - buttons. You can divide the remote flashes into three groups (A, B, C) and control them independently.
